Nicolaj was born and raised in Denmark. He started sailing in the Optimist class during his childhood and now commands the iconic 65-meter classic schooner Creole. His family looks after him when he is not at sea on the beautiful island of Mallorca. In his spare time, Nicolaj entertains himself with restoring classic cars, building guitars, playing paddle-tennis, and visiting his friends and family who are spread all over the globe. As a mariner, Nicolaj was trained with Maersk in the merchant navy and prides himself of keeping a safe, professionally run ship at all times. His knowledge of the Balearics can take you from most remote corners to the busiest night spots on the islands.

Andrea Cabrini Morgato

Andrea was born and raised in Brazil. She grey up very close to her Italian and Spanish grandmothers, cooking with them and using fresh ingredients from their farm. She loves cooking and making people feel good & happy through her food & creativity. Andrea completed a culinary degree in Rome from “Food and Wine Academy Gambero Rosso” and spent time as a Sous Chef in Sardinia. Six years ago, she moved to Rio, where her passion for the sea & the sailing lifestyle inspired her to get involved in yachting. Andrea was ready for a new challenge and aimed to become a yacht chef. Over the winter months she completed several new culinary courses while traveling in Asia. In her spare time, she is more than a little obsessed with diving!

Carla was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. She spent her childhood growing up in Botswana and Mozambique. After completing her schooling, she taught English as a foreign language before heading out to sail the high seas. She has worked on both small and very large private and charter yachts. For nine years she sailed the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Bahamas and Florida. In her spare time she enjoys Barre Body, SUP yoga, learning to surf, and collecting anything vintage from cars to vinyls. She aspires to some day run community projects in Africa through corporate social investment.

Karina Moraes

Karina Moraes

Second Stewardess

Karina is originally from Brazil, however she was raised in South Africa, and has lived in many different countries since, learning a couple languages along the way! She has been in yachting for a few years now and has travelled all around the world, experiencing once in a lifetime adventures in some very remote locations. Karina also has a Bachelors and teachers degree in Fine Arts, and when not working at sea, is painting at her studio here in Palma.

Benjamin Critchley

Benjamin grew up in Gloucestershire, United Kingdom. From a young age, he has been a sports enthusiast ranging from cycling, jogging and hiking to various types of water sports like kayaking, surfing and windsurfing. He is a certified kayak and wind surf instructor. Prior to joining the yachting industry 8 years ago, Benjamin worked as a tradesman and thoroughly enjoys renovation and maintenance and applies these skills and drive to his role. Benjamin enjoys leading an active lifestyle and thrives off of guests walking away from a charter with a new found water sport hobby and knowledge of the ocean.

Melissa van der Walt

Melissa was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. For over twenty years, she has travelled the world, dividing her time between working on yachts and adventure travel. Melissa started off doing ocean crossing yacht deliveries, after arriving in the Mediterranean she took her first role as stewardess and cook. She then became a deckhand gaining her licenses, after which she became a captain on a 20m Sunseeker. This led her to finding her passion in engineering over 12 years ago. When Melissa is not working on yachts, you’ll find her exploring far away places and she has many adventure stories to tell such as spending 3 months camping on the ice in Antarctica and 9 months diving for sunken treasure in the Pacific Ocean.

Kerry Dickinson

Kerry Dickinson

Deck/Stewardess

Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, grew up in South Africa. She left South Africa at the age of 21 to move to the United Kingdom where she worked in corporate finance for 12 years. She has now decided to make a career and life change and move into the yachting industry. She hopes to work her way up the ranks in the coming years. She loves traveling and exploring, and in 2019 she walked part of The Camino de Santiago. In her spare time she loves swimming, SUPing, camping, hiking, cooking, skateboarding and meeting new people.
